Golden Parrotbill

Golden Parrotbill is a small songbird that is beautiful, friendly, and vocal but sometimes hard to see in the thick crush and bamboo clusters it likes. Green overhead, white below, dark wings with a black throat and a golden patch. 

Foothill and upper-elevation forests are typically populated, but during harsh winters they can descend to lower elevations. It gives chirps, squeaks, trills, and chattering calls: loud and vocal.
